Wakame, Soaking and Chopping Wakame, Soaking and Chopping

Rinse first under running water. Place in warm water, preferably no more than what you can incorporate into the recipe you are making. The water becomes very nutritious and flavorful once you have soaked the sea weeds in it. It usually takes only about 5 minutes to soften sea weeds. Squeeze out excess water and chop.
