What are white kidney beans and how are they different from red kidney beans?

White kidney beans are the same plant species as red kidney beans, they are just a different variety. Kidney beans that are white in color are known as cannellini beans. While we don't have a nutrient comparison between the two varieties of beans, there will be many similarities in the basic essential nutrient profile, but likely some small differences, particularly in the phytonutrient content since the red variety contain colored pigments known as anthocyanins that play a role in promoting health and preventing disease.
