Crock Pot Lunch

Try to use a pressure cooker as much as possible. I think the flavors are better and nutrients preserved.

At the beginning of the week put in the pressure cooker :

Bring to pressure and cook for 30 minutes. Let sit until pressure drops. Serving size: about 1/2 cup My husband's then gets organic spaghetti sauce and a little bit of grated parmesan and perhaps a little left over chicken or whatever we have had for dinner recently that would taste good. He heats it in the microwave (sorry...) at the office in the serving size GLASS container. Mine gets a sliced carrot, some broccoli or cauliflower, a few feta cubes, some pesto and a few organic salad greens with Paul Newman's organic oil and vinegar salad dressing. Bingo! lunch for the week which doesn't have to be refrigerated when you get to the office and this amount of grains will just about cover 10 lunches or five days. We don't get hungry and we feel great!!
